It took 87 calls to finally get through and when I said why I'm calling, they asked if I could see the nurse between 10-12 today, but explained that I'm at work and won't be able too. However I did get an appointment, for Sunday at a different centre...I don't mind but it did really have to take that many calls to make an appointment?
Never get an appointment, staff just rude and intrusive, easier going to walk in centre!
If you're going to have a system where you have to call at 8am to get an appointment at least make it work. Calling 70 times only to hear busy tone before you get through is not acceptable. How hard is it to set up a system where you can have an operator tell you that "you are caller number 13 in line" for example. Get with the times, this has been going on for too long for patients to put up with
NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE. This used to be a wonderful surgery, now the patients are treated as an inconvenience. The Surgery Manager and reception staff couldn't be more rude if they tried. They should all be ashamed, absolutely disgusting. AVOID IF YOU CAN!
Went to organise a blood test because my repeat prescription form insists that I need to have one before I will be allowed any more of my essential medication. Despite the fact that I only have one week's supply left no appointment can be made for two weeks. So I ask to see a doctor only to be told that I cannot!
